Conversations that matter

Researcher Speaker Consultant

Conversations that matter is focused on creating meaningful dialogue and change. I bring my years of research and clinical experience to the table, allowing me to truly understand my clients’ needs. My clinical work opened a whole world of opportunities for me, as I wanted to get answers to all the questions encountered in my practice. I took the issues that concerned my patients into research almost a decade ago, and since, I strive to give their voice power.

Testimonials

'I want to say that I think that the approach that you’ve got to this whole thing is fantastic.  If I can chuck that in, because I’d like to say it: Thank you so much for doing what you’re doing, and I really do hope that it helps people because it is definitely an area, you’ve hit it on the head, that it’s an area that is not talked about.'

'I’m glad that this sort of research is happening because I think it is certainly something that I think I wish I had more guidance on as I was navigating that process.  So, I appreciate what you’re doing, it really means a lot.'

My misssion

As a healthcare professional passionate about holistic care, I hope to break the power of shame and taboo around discussing sexual well-being with chronically ill individuals. I have extensive clinical and academic experience, and my mission is to create safe spaces for people to express their sexual concerns and needs without the fear of judgement and stigma. I believe that sexual well-being is an essential aspect of overall health, and that individuals living with chronic illness should have access to accurate, comprehensive and compassionate information and support. Through education, advocacy and community biding initiatives, I am dedicated to support healthcare professionals to see sexual well-being as a valued and normalised part of the conversation surrounding chronic illness, and ensure that every person has the opportunity to live their life to the fullest, free from shame and stigma.

Join me and get inspired, let's have conversations that matter!
